KU V Fit
Overview
KU V Fit is an ongoing virtual exercise program for individuals (age 13+) with an intellectual disability. Weekly classes are taught over the free video conferencing application Zoom. Each class is 35 minutes in length and includes aerobic, strength, endurance and dance based physical activity. Social interaction is encouraged among participants!
Current Class times:
Mondays 4:30-5:05pm Thursdays 5:00-5:35pm
*Additional class times added based on staff availability
Requirements
- Age 13 or older with an intellectual disability
- Wi-Fi connection
- Email address
- Computer or tablet with camera and microphone
- Download the free Zoom® video conferencing application
What is provided
- First month FREE- Try 1 weekly class for a month. Select 1 month trial and enter code: Summer
$20 Monthly Unlimited Membership
- Financial scholarships available on a limited basis- contact for more information
